My story
I chose physics because I wanted to understand the “why does it happen this way?” question about reality. I think the most exciting part of physics is struggling to figure that out and working with others to figure out the behaviors of the universe. I’m excited about the experiments I can do with my background and watching the results unfold. I plan to go to grad school and continue research in either astrophysics or high-energy physics.
This scholarship means a lot to me because it means someone was paying attention to those who may not be in the spotlight or who are considered the “standard” physics student. It means I can go further to pursue my ultimate goal of being a physicist.
