Member Society Liaison, AIP

About

Frank serves as the Member Society Relations Liaison at the American Institute of Physics (AIP), aiming to build connections between AIP and the 10 Member Societies served by AIP, including the TU-T Lead Partners. He works with staff and volunteer leaders at each society to help connect them with AIP resources that further member goals. He also works internally to make sure Member Society goals and needs are incorporated into AIP actions. Previously, he worked for the Grants Resource Center at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). Here he helped regional universities understand the federal funding process and connect them to relevant grants, with a special focus on science and STEM education funding. He began his career in government relations, working at the state and federal level to support clients in varied fields like technology based economic development, higher education, and healthcare. He graduated with a degree in Communication, Law, Economics, and Government (yes, that’s all one degree) from the American University in Washington DC. He spends his free time obsessing over baseball and knows more about advanced sports stats than anyone outside of the industry should.
