Jett Halfacre-Buie

I’ve been interested in engineering for a long time. Through the dual-degree program with Georgia Tech, I found a path to get both a physics degree and an aerospace engineering degree. I love working with my hands and love math, which helped my decision.

I am most passionate about aerospace and interplanetary travel.

This scholarship helped by paying off my tuition and kept me focused on schoolwork because I do not have to work as many hours. This will be important because I need all the time I can get to study for all the physics and math classes I am currently taking.
