My story
Since I was a kid, I’d always loved the stars. When I found out there was a career focused on them, I was ecstatic. I’m passionate about my current research: I study X-ray sources in nearby galaxies. I hope to earn a Ph.D. and do my own research or work for an observatory.
I earned the Mogge Scholarship for this academic year for my academics and research. I’m still doing research, which I’ve now been working on for a year. Throughout it, I’ve been able to make many Python scripts to automate the process and produce results throughout my time so far. This award is impactful because I greatly need the financial help. Renting in California, school, and other expenses are very expensive, so the scholarship award helps me get on my feet.
