Anya E. Johnson

I have always been drawn towards natural phenomena and fascinated by quantum mechanics. I chose physics as my major to fuel my quantum pursuit and give me the tools to become a condensed matter researcher.

I am going to graduate school to earn my Ph.D. focused on sustainable material development and energy sources.

The TEAM-UP Together Scholarship allows me, a first-gen student, to finish my last year of school and move on to my next adventure. Still, it also enables me to build a communication network with other physicists and connect me to more opportunities.
