I have loved the stars and sky since I was a child. I can't think of anything cooler or more fun to study than the stars and deep space, as well as the laws of the universe that govern them.

I love everything about astronomy, from planets to stars to distant galaxies to everything in the universe. I couldn’t pick just one topic. I would especially love to learn about how everything in the universe came to be, from accretion to today.
My goal is to learn everything I possibly can and to pursue a Ph.D. in astrophysics and astronomy. I hope that through studies we will be able to predict how the expanse will evolve; to glimpse into the future too distant for us to fathom ourselves.
I was an intern at the SETI Institute and Unistellar, where I wrote articles and made weekly social media posts for our citizen science community. I am also the Astronomy tutor on campus at Diablo Valley College, and I love helping with events and observing nights!
This scholarship is security for me; it ensures that I will be able to sustain myself financially until my expected transfer date. It also means that people believe in me and think I am worthy of this honor, which I do not take lightly. Thank you, truly.
