My passion for sports, especially softball, sparked my interest in physics. I chose interdisciplinary physics to connect physics with sports and material science, allowing me to apply concepts both in class and hands-on with my team. I am most passionate about applying physics to real life, especially in sports. Understanding motion, force, and materials in softball inspires me to improve the game and helps give kids with fewer resources the chance to reach their potential.

I plan to work in sports engineering and design with a goal of working for the Olympics. I also want to give back by helping kids who lack resources but have the same talent, applying physics to improve performance and innovate athletic gear.

I am working on physics projects that connect classroom learning with hands-on experience. I also work with the UNF softball team and aim to use what I learn to inspire and give back to kids with less access to resources but the same talent.

Receiving this scholarship is important because it allows me to focus on physics and sports while gaining opportunities. It also helps me grow skills and inspire kids with fewer resources to reach their potential in sports and STEM.
