My interest in physics was sparked by the movie Interstellar. The visualization of the black hole had breached my young mind into a world of unknowns. I wanted to explore more about this field and challenge the impossible questions.
I am most passionate about my research and extracurricular clubs in physics and astronomy.
I hope to pursue higher education and take my passion for physics and astronomy to the next level. Graduate schools offer a variety of opportunities for me to delve more into my curiosities and find a niche to become an expert in!
I have been a Women in Science and Engineering fellow for two years. In those two years, my research skills have grown so much. I am also the President of the SPS chapter at the University of Southern California, and our mission to create a nurturing and supportive community is now as alive as ever!
This scholarship award lifts a burden off my shoulders while I pursue a degree that I have always been passionate about achieving. The impact that this award has is unexplainable. Learning does not feel like a burden anymore — and that speaks volumes!
