The earliest moment of inspiration I can recall is a doctor explaining to me how my mother's cochlear implant works.

I have been passionate about physical sciences for as long as I can remember. There are so many niches to explore! I am passionate about pursuing equality and global technological access through focused advancements in systems and research. A great portion of my work focuses on developing alternatives to extremely expensive experimental setups on shoestring budgets.
Hopefully, I will go on to pursue graduate school! I hope to remain in and expand my work within the astronomy research ecosystem for as long as possible. My career goals are to do either academic research or to have an industry position in engineering or data analysis.
Beyond TEAM-UP Together, I am a recipient of the 2025 DiRAC Summer Research Prize. I operate and manage a hypersonic tunnel flow imaging system and am separately working on photometric data stacking to identify undiscovered ancient dusty-star-forming galaxies.
As a FAFSA-dependent, self-supporting student who started college in September 2019, my continued financial stability has never been guaranteed. My graduation date is June 2026. With the help of TEAM-UP Together, these remaining quarters are now entirely paid.
