When I first learned about the concept of space, it was completely bewildering to my younger self that something so mysterious and fascinating truly existed. The subject never lost that touch of magic that originally drew me in!

My long term-plan is to attend graduate school and ultimately pursue a career in academia, where I would like to teach in addition to conducting research. Receiving this scholarship makes me feel that I truly belong in the STEM community. This support instills me with motivation to go forward with pursuing my goals.
