I’m most passionate about black holes! They’re so mysterious and tricky, which is what physics is all about, in my opinion. They are the embodiment of the unknown and I’m in love with the fact that we know so little about them in the grand scheme of things

My goal is to get my Ph.D., go straight into an industry position, and produce cutting-edge research on black holes or gamma ray bursts at Jet Propulsion Laboratory or Los Alamos National Laboratory. I have hopes of eventually mentoring and taking on older high school students and younger undergraduate students to help with early career development.

I’m currently conducting research in the realm of particle physics and AI machine learning under professor Javier Duarte’s lab.

In December 2023, I was selected as one of two individuals to speak as a TEDxUCSD speaker in my freshman year of college. In April 2024 I was honored to share my speech with others around me.
